This Contest Launched October 01. Our contest submissions (through a family fb account) were deleted by Shaderlight from their "Posts to page” and ArtVPS was questioned as to where our entries were. These inquiries were by SketchUp Texture, who had shared the links (that disappeared) on their page and MasterSketchUp, who is intimately familiar with The Mason Farm Renders project for his book “SketchUp to LayOut". Due to that interest, ArtVPS finally accepted submissions only by email. Finally on Oct 24, the company accepted six of our renders. Thinking that it would be difficult to catch up in voting that started at the beginning of the month, we immediately posted on our business page, private wall and groups announcing that our renders were accepted.
Overnight, those posts were shared. And in only a day and half, KP's renders had surpassed the leading “like” leader. We looked closely at the competitors and found incredible details and work. Leading the competition since entering, we decided on the third day, to use our FB page and groups to promote the work of other artists to no avail. Too many opened the album and clicked like, not knowing they were mine or the others I was promoting. Popularity over quality?! Incredible discipline was overlooked, under appreciated and Shaderlight plugin achievements by these artists, ignored.
